EMPLOYABILITY WORKSHOP : Creating New Opportunities

As part of our trainee programme, we run a dedicated employment support session once a month during Week 4 of the course. This session is designed to prepare trainees for the next step in their journey. ☕💼

The session begins with a focus on interview preparation, highlighting its importance and offering practical support through mock interviews. With the help of volunteers from our partner organisations, trainees take part in mock- interview, and receive feedback to build their confidence and identify key areas for improvement.

Following this, we host a CV writing workshop where each trainee creates a professional, hospitality-ready CV tailored for onward employment opportunities.

These sessions are carefully crafted in collaboration with our volunteers, whose time and expertise bring valuable real world insight to the programme. The aim is to equip participants with practical skills they can take forward beyond the course, helping them feel more prepared for real life challenges, especially those that may feel intimidating or unfamiliar.
