Abseil For Change
The Rugby World Cup is in full swing, and what better way to get involved (and do good at the same time!) then by joining the RFU & Change Please for this hugely exciting event.
Held at the Home of Rugby, Twickenham Stadium, this fundraiser will support Change Please’s mission to fight homelessness by training people in need as baristas and getting them back on their feet...& on a cheekier note, also push fundraisers to the edge!
On October 12th, we will be running a sponsored abseiling event allowing participants to abseil from the top of this iconic institution. It will be a great opportunity to not only experience a truly breathtaking activity, but to network with other fantastic partners, to meet the Change Please team and our inspiring graduates as well. You will see the stadium on a non match day with pitch side photo opportunities and more exciting news to follow...
WHAT CAN YOUR MONEY DO?
We've set a target of £500 per person. This is a target only, don't worry, if you don't manage to raise it you can still take part! Here's an example of what it can do!
£500 will start someone on their way to employment by funding our 3 day assessment programme, vital to ensure they are successful on the extended programme.
Are you in a team? £5,000 will pay for one of our trainees to complete the entire 12 week course including; living wage employment, housing, counselling, employability & life skills mentoring, hospitality training, and support into onward employment.
Individual places £95 per person Non-Abseil Ticket £25 per person Fundraising Target £500 per person
