About/FAQ

We are an award-winning coffee company with a difference; a social enterprise supporting people out of homelessness through Life Changing Coffee.

We provide training, employment paying the Living Wage and support with housing, finances and therapy to help people experiencing homelessness move forward. 100% of the profits of our award-winning coffee goes towards ending homelessness.

We believe that you should never have to compromise on quality to do something good; our coffee has won multiple awards, including Great Taste and the Product Excellence Awards.

Change Please trainees are trained to become speciality baristas at our state-of-the-art Training Academy by our in-house SCA Certified training team. After their initial training they begin their new barista roles at one of our sites in London, supported by a Mentor Barista. Whilst employed with us trainees are paid the London Living Wage and continue to be supported with housing, personal finance and therapy support and crucially, onward employment, further helping them on the next step on their journey.

Change Please launched in 2015 with one coffee cart in Covent Garden. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength and shop to shop, all whilst serving great tasting coffee. Change Please continues to grow dramatically, partnering with global businesses such as Virgin Atlantic, WeWork and David Lloyd to further our impact across the country. We have also launched our first site in Perth, Australia with others around the globe including Paris and Dublin due to follow their lead.

Since its humble beginnings Change Please has changed a lot with millions of coffees sold, dozens of new sites and brilliant partners supporting our mission. We’ve learnt many lessons along the way but our mission, values and ethos will always remain the same; we produce and serve great tasting coffee with 100% of the profits supporting people who have experienced homelessness get back on their feet.

In the words of one of our brilliant Change Please trainees, Liam: “I feel part of a movement, part of a change in society. Everyone is part of a bigger thing. I am not just someone who makes the coffee, we are Change Please.”

Support our mission to end homelessness simply by changing where you buy your coffee.
