Since we started with our first cart in Covent Garden, back in 2015, Change Please has grown and evolved,but prioritising people and the planet has always been at the heart of everything we’ve done.It is our responsibility to have a positive impact not just on the environment, but also on all of ourstakeholders - trainees, partners, suppliers, customers, and of course our wonderful Change Please team. Our mission is driven by the desire to support people experiencing homelessness, but it will be done in away that maximises our ability to comply with our sustainability beliefs and CSR objectives.
The actions of every one of us leave a mark on the planet. While we cannot change everything overnight, we are committed to taking steps that limit negative impacts, encourage positive change, and inspire others to do the same. Our goal is simple: to ensure that the way we deliver social impact also safeguards the future of the communities and world around us.
Achieving B Corp certification in 2024 was a proud milestone for Change Please, recognising our commitment to using business as a force for good. The process highlighted opportunities to go further, which we’ve embraced by strengthening employee wellbeing, advancing equity, diversity and inclusion, and ensuring all core coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified. Being a B Corp is about continuous improvement, and we’re committed to doing more for our team, trainees, partners and the wider world.

Since 2024, we have been measuring our carbon footprint and taking action to reduce it. This includes waste reduction
programmes, new travel and expense policies, and closer engagement with our suppliers to explore how we can collectively reduce our environmental impact.
AQUEOUS LINED CUPS
All Change Please brand cups are aqueous lined. They are Compostable, Biodegradable and Recyclable. This means they can go in recycling OR Food Waste streams.
100% RENEWABLES & ‘0’ LANDFILL
UK Roastery runs on 100% Renewable Energy with no waste sent to landfill.
ALL RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
All core coffee packaging is made with PP5 materials and are fully recyclable with other soft plastics.
