Welcome Guest - Kinini, Rwanda - Washed Process
Each month, we open our doors to something new - a specialty guest coffee that brings fresh character, fresh flavour and a fresh perspective to your cup.
This month’s Welcome Guest takes us to the high hills of Rulindo, Rwanda, where altitude, care and community come together to create something truly special. Produced by the Cooperative Coffee Rusiga Sector (KCRS), this coffee is a celebration of collaboration, precision and exceptional growing conditions.
Grown at elevations between 1,800 and 2,500 masl, this lot features Bourbon Mayaguez and Bourbon Jackson varietals, prized for their sweetness and clarity. The washed process brings elegance and structure to the cup, revealing layered fruit character with a refined, tea-like finish.
Expect a vibrant yet balanced profile, with notes of Medjool dates, dried pineapple and raspberries: Bright, complex and beautifully clean from first sip to last.
