Welcome Guest - Munchique Los Tigres, Colombia

Each month, we open our doors to something new - a specialty guest coffee that brings fresh character, fresh flavour and a fresh perspective to your cup.

This month’s Welcome Guest takes us to the mountains of Cauca, Colombia, a region celebrated for producing coffees with exceptional sweetness, clarity and complexity.

Grown between 1,535 and 2,000 metres above sea level, Munchique Los Tigres is a beautifully balanced washed coffee that combines vibrant fruit notes with a delicate, elegant finish. Expect bright orange juice acidity, smooth caramel sweetness, and gentle hints of camomile that bring softness and complexity to every cup. Clean, expressive and wonderfully approachable, it’s a coffee that showcases the very best of Colombian coffee craftsmanship.

This coffee is produced within the Munchique Los Tigres Indigenous Reserve, home to the Nasa people of Cauca. Here, coffee cultivation is deeply connected to the land, with farming practices rooted in respect for nature and a commitment to preserving the environment for future generations.

Working through the CENCOIC Cooperative, local producers have strengthened their role within the supply chain, allowing communities to invest in quality, sustainability and long-term resilience. The result is a coffee that not only reflects its unique terroir, but also the dedication and care of the people who produce it.
