Royal Visit to Change Please Borough Market

Change Please were honoured to welcome the Prince and Princess of Wales to our Borough Market coffee cart on Thursday 12th March.
Over the past year, Change Please has been working alongside the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales in support of the Homewards programme, with a focus on creating employment pathways for people experiencing homelessness.
Together, we’ve launched a funded NEON project to train 12 people in Belfast and connect them to jobs through partners including David Lloyd Clubs, Compass Group, Elior Group and BT Group.
In the last 12 months alone, Change Please has trained over 280 people across 8 UK cities, while our Driving for Change outreach programme supported 4,500 people experiencing homelessness.
A powerful reminder that employment can be a key step in ending homelessness, and that collaboration makes it possible.
