Glasgow Coffee Festival

On Sunday 12^th May, Change Please Managing Director, Ken Love, was at the Glasgow Coffee Festival 2024! Ken spoke about all things Change Please and how coffee can really fuel change, diving into the journey of Change Please, from our first cart in Covent Garden in 2015 to our transformation into an international social enterprise.
 
In his talk, Ken demonstrated how with innovative thinking and a strong commitment to positive change, a business can be both sustainable and a force for social good, one coffee at a time.

“It was a pleasure to spend some time talking all things Change Please and Social Impact at the 10th Annual Glasgow Coffee Festival.

I went through a bit of an overview of Change Please, the origins of our brand and  concept as well as how our impact model has been evolved with and shaped by our amazing people and partnerships.

Coffee is an industry and sector that is highly progressive when it comes to both social and environmental sustainability, so being able to be a part of one of the UKs premier coffee events (in my beloved home town) was, to coin a proper Glasgow term, pure magic!!”
